Kate's 4th Birthday and Her #PlanetDog Ball Collection

I turned 28 dog years on or around April 28th, so I decided it was time for me to learn how to drive. Now I'm a professional race car driver. And an ace fighter pilot. And starship captain.

It's no big deal.

Also, not a big deal: I received the Sun for a birthday gift. Okay, it's the orange Sol ball  from Planet Dog. I cannot stress enough how durable Planet Dog balls are. My glow-in-the-dark Luna ball has been around since 2012 and is still going strong. I'm a powerful chewer, so that says something about the quality of the toy. I actually have a collection of Planet Dog balls, like a smaller glow-in-the-dark ball, a white randomly-bouncing Snowball, and a black randomly-bouncing Coal ball. They are all at my disposal whenever I want to play with one. Right now, though, I am thoroughly enamored with Sol. The orange color reminds me more of a basketball than the Sun.

Here is a photo of the Sol ball with my human, and yours truly in the background:

Speaking of durable toys, I also like the Red Bone  by Kong. It is my oldest toy that is still in "working" condition, since 2011. It doesn't have the movement like my ball collection, but the Red Bone is a loyal friend.

I've learned the sad, hard way that flimsy, spiky balls don't last that long. If you have a dog that is a strong chewer, or if you are a dog that is a strong chewer, please avoid those kind of toys. Planet Dog (2012 to current models) and Kong (at least the 2011 models) are excellent toy brands.

Happy Birthday to me,
Kate!
